Streams of Time - 2015

Israel Electric, as the national company leading the development of the State of Israel for over 92 years, Presents Streams of Time, Action, Construction, and Zionism. Sixteen Israeli photographers from a variety of backgrounds ventured on a creative artistic journey in the industrial and mechanical world to produce an experimental and imaginary connection to the past, present and future.

The photographers were exposed to the exciting electricity generating enterprise, from the Hagit Power Station near Yokneam to the Ramat Hovav Power Station near Beer-Sheva. There were those who were captured by the power and those who focused on the softness, those who saw the generality, and those who touched on the particular, those who photographed the existing, and those who wandered the abstract world. There were those who regarded the machine as an object and those who regarded it as human. Each from his point of view, the photographers wandered the expanse of the past, the present, and the future.
